ESA Windows & Doors

The brief

ESA Windows and Doors is a UK glazing company with over fifteen years of window installation, door fitting and commercial glazing behind it. They did not need a system, they needed presence. The job was a brand site that showed what the company does and made it easy to start a conversation, with no admin panel and no database to maintain.

What I built

The site opens on a full screen hero with an auto cycling slideshow and a slow zoom across the images, which gives a trade that photographs well the space to do so. An emergency banner sits above it, dismissible, carrying the 24 hour availability that matters to someone whose window has just gone through.

Below that the site does the work of a brochure: an overview of services, a filterable gallery of real installations, testimonials, and an FAQ answering what people ask before they call.

Contact is deliberately direct. The quote form emails the company straight from the site, so an enquiry reaches them without any dashboard to check. A WhatsApp icon opens a chat with the company's own number, which for a trade business is often how the first message actually arrives.

How it works

Next.js 15 with React 19 and TypeScript, styled with Tailwind CSS v4 and shadcn/ui components on Radix primitives. Sending mail directly from the site keeps the whole thing static and cheap to host, with nothing to secure or back up.

There is a dark and light mode toggle, and the layout is built for phones first, since most of the traffic for a local trade arrives on one. Entrance animations run as sections scroll into view through a small custom utility rather than a library.
